Join us from September 7-10, 2026 in Hobart, Australia. WSC is one of the largest gatherings of seabird conservationists, researchers, professionals, students, and supporters. 

MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS

Membership is open to any organization interested in seabird research and conservation. Given the scale and depth of work that WSU aims to accomplish, member organizations and partners play an integral role.

Seabirds are important indicators of ecosystem health. Threats include invasive species, fisheries bycatch, pollution, habitat destruction, and climate change impacts.

RESOURCES

WSU uses open-source database management to collect and disseminate seabird data. This data resource is valuable for seabird conservation efforts.
